Checklists

Please ensure you have read our checklists and are happy with the service description prior to booking in and paying a deposit for our cleaning services. Confirming a booking and paying a deposit for our cleaning services states that you have read, acknowledged, and agreed with the service description as per the checklists and happy to proceed under these terms.

If you require a custom service or specifc area cleaned that is not covered by our standard checklists, then our office team will be more than happy to assist you, where possible, in booking in the correct service for your requirements prior to the commencement of any cleaning. Any additions required on the day of the clean, after payment of a deposit and a confirmed booking, may incur additional charges.

Below are our general requirements and exclusions. Depending on the service you are requesting to book, or have booked, please ensure the following are in place before our team arrives at the property.

Please note

  • Kitchen cleaning does not include oven cleaning or appliance cleaning
  • Utility Room cleaning does not include appliance cleaning
  • Individual appliances can be cleaned as an optional extra, including fridge, freezer, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and microwave
  • Ovens, hobs, splash backs, and hoods can be cleaned as an optional extra

Where appropriate, please ensure

  • Fridges, freezers, and fridge-freezers are fully defrosted and empty
  • Cupboards, wardrobes, chest of drawers, and any other furniture are empty
  • Kitchen cupboards, kitchen drawers, and other kitchen furniture are empty
  • Bathroom cupboards, bathrooms drawers, bathroom cabinets, and other kitchen furniture are empty
  • Visible rubbish is removed from the property
  • Food items are removed from the property
  • Personal items are removed from the property
  • Valuable items are removed from the property
  • Furniture is removed from the property

Our team require

  • Access to the property at the agreed time
  • Running hot water from an accessible tap inside the property
  • Electricity from an safe and accessible plug socket inside the property
  • Customer to be present at beginning and at the end of the clean
  • Deposit payment to confirm booking of the clean
  • Balance payment on completion of the clean

Our service does not include

  • Moving of furniture, appliances, items, or beloginings
  • Removal of rust
  • Removal of signs of damage
  • Removal of cosmetic abrasions
  • Guaranteed removal of tough carpet stains
  • Steam cleaning
  • Clearance of rubbish, personal belongings, furniture, or other items
  • Cleaning requiring the use of a ladder
  • Cleaning outside of a property
  • Cleaning of internal or external walls
  • Cleaning of external windows
  • Cleaning of internal windows that cannot be safely reached without the use of a ladder, including sky lights, hard to reach windows
  • Cleaning of blood, faeces, or bodily fluids
  • Cleaning of excessively dirty/dusty vents or insides of vents
  • Cleaning of excessively dirty/dusty radiators or insides of radiators
  • Cleaning of excessively fire places or insides of fire places
  • Cleaning of lofts, basements, garages, shed or outbuildings
  • Cleaning of upholstery, mattresses, curtains, or blinds
  • Cleaning of beds, bed bases, or bed head boards
  • Cleaning of glasses, plates, cutlery, crockery, cookware and utensils
  • Cleaning of toasters, kettles, or other small appliances
  • Cleaning of excessive grease, limescale, mould, dirt, or soiling
  • Application of mould killer
  • Application of drain cleaner or clearing of drains
  • Application of cleaning tags or labels
  • Checking or reporting of any issues within a property, for example, lights, filters, decoration
  • Management of post in property

Fridge

If you have requested a fridge clean the following is included:

  • Wipe down inside and outside of fridge
  • Wipe seals
  • Wash shelves and compartments
  • Please note that fridges need to be fully defrosted and emptied before our cleaning team arrives

Freezer

If you have requested a freezer clean the following is included:

  • Wipe down inside and outside of freezer
  • Wipe seals
  • Wash shelves and compartments
  • Please note that freezers need to be fully defrosted and emptied before our cleaning team arrives

Fridge-Freezer

If you have requested a fridge-freezer clean the following is included:

  • Wipe down inside and outside of fridge-freezer
  • Wipe seals
  • Wash shelves and compartments
  • Please note that fridge-freezers need to be fully defrosted and emptied before our cleaning team arrives

Washing Machine

If you have requested a washing machine clean the following is included:

  • Wipe down inside and outside of washing machine
  • Clean inside and outside of door
  • Clean out rubber seal
  • Clean out soap tray
  • Please note that our team will do their best to clean soap tray but 100% removal of detergent is not always possible

Dishwasher

If you have requested a dishwasher clean the following is included:

  • Wipe down inside and outside of dishwasher
  • Clean out tablet compartment
  • Remove and clean filter
  • Please note that our team will do their best to clean soap tray but 100% removal of detergent is not always possible

Microwave

If you have requested a microwave clean the following is included:

  • Wipe down inside and outside of microwave
  • Clean turntable

If you have requested an oven clean the following is included:

  • Inside of oven
  • Oven door, panel, and front
  • Wipe down of oven top
  • Up to 2 oven racks

The following are optional extras to your oven clean:

  • Hobs, burners, and plates
  • Oven hood and extractor fan (cleaning of disposable filters not included)

  • Additional oven racks

The following are not included as part of your oven clean:

  • Cleaing of the drip trays
  • Cleaning of cooking trays or internal grills

If you have requested a basic carpet clean, not a professional carpet clean, the following is included:

  • Vaccuming of carpets
  • Hot water extraction carpet cleaning of synthetic carpets using a basic carpet cleaning machine

The following are not included as part of your basic carpet clean:

  • Before-clean spray treatment
  • Cleaning of edges or inaccessible areas
  • Cleaning using a hand tool
  • Cleaning of natural fibre carpets
  • Stain treatment
  • After-clean spray treatment
  • Bug or infestation treatment
  • Removal of pet hair
  • Carpet repairs
  • Removal of carpet damage

If you have requested an end of tenancy clean the following is included:

Kitchen

  • Wash all work surfaces
  • Clean the insides of all cupboards, including shelves and doors (providing cupboards are empty)
  • Clean the tops of wall units and underneath them
  • Clean exterior and interior of drawers (providing drawers are empty)
  • Clean the sink, taps, wastes and draining areas
  • Degrease and clean wall tiles (excluding wall cleaning)
  • Clean inside and out of interior refuse receptacles and bins
  • Hoover and mop the floor and clean skirting boards
  • Wipe down interior windows (reachable) and window frames, clean doors, tops of doors, and door handles
  • Appropriately and safely clean and wipe all socket outlets and switches (front and edges), light fittings, shades
  • Please note that cupboards, drawers, etc, need to be empty and food items removed prior to clean
